Can you have your child christened twice?

I had my son christened at 7 months old and his father chose his godparents, now my son is nearly 3 and does not see any of his godparents and i have changed his name by deed poll is it possible to christen my son again using his new surname and choose new godparents ? HELP PLEASE !!!!!
