Is an Ultra Sound test very accurate at scanning Testicular Cancer?

The tech is not allowed to tell you anything so this is a little surprising. The doctor would not likely read the scan until after you were gone and would not speak to you. If there was anything that is cause for concern the radiologist would call your doctor. It doesn’t appear anyone is concerned about testicular cancer. You state this is not the reason for the ultrasound and you already know the cause. However, most are diagnosed on ultrasound and it would ordinarily rule it out, but it is possible you could not be completely evaluated as the hernia could obstruct the view. You should be referred to a surgeon to repair the hernia or a urologist if there is a problem with your testicles.
