When we plug our Onkyo Receiver (Model TX-SR606) into our Toshiba TV (Model 55SV67OU) it randomly shuts our TV?

When we plug our Onkyo Receiver (Model TX-SR606) into our Toshiba TV (Model 55SV67OU) it randomly shuts our TV off.. We've tried plugging all of our components into our receiver and just an optic cable into the TV and it still shuts our TV off.. We have tried unplugging the receiver from the TV and just plug our shaw box into the TV and that fixes the problem with our TV shutting off.. so we are uming it has to be an onkyo problem if when it is the only thing plugged into our tv, our tv shuts off.. any suggestions as to what this could be??
