How can I get a job and make money from anime art in the UK?

It's next to impossible to find a real job as a Manga Artist. So I think the best option is find a good full time job and then do drawing as part time. There are places like DaviantArt and Mangaraiders forum where others look for Manga Artists. You can take projects and earn money. But I don't think you can make a living out of only these things.
