Did our True God-Man Jesus disappear from ages 12-30 or was the Bible edited by some unspiritual xenophobics ?

I believe that much "tinkering" was done with the Bible. I just can't understand why God's people couldn't know the fullness of what happened to Jesus while he was on this Earth. Much more exposure to the peoples of this world was done by our Lord's son. I believe that whoever was in "charge" back in ancient times, wrote and said whatever they wished. There was no "entity" that was strong or bold enough to stop these occurrences. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.
