Have ethnic North Americans always been part of the Chinese Empire?

China's communist party claims a right to China due to succesion of kingdoms and China claims right to Tibet because Tibet was once a tributory kingdom of China. If that is the case, will people in several hundred years look at the US with all their non-degraded plastic parts stamped 'made in China' and ume we were part of China?
