How long will it take for the perineal abscess on my to heal?

I had treatment in April 2008 (surgically punctured and dressed daily) for the first six weeks. I still have a small hole next to my bottom that leaks a small amount of fluid and just refuses to heal. I still have a stinging pain from time to time too.
