in all its forms is overrated?

now that i am a tad older ( early 20s) I am finally seeing it for what its worth. Everything in the industry is fake and contrived. It's not that I am desensitized by , it just that in the long run , the fantasy wears off and it becomes a boring routine. That goes for every type of , including the ones billed as "artsy/extreme//rough//gros… out/reality, etc etc. it's all the same bland acting and stupid script recycled over and over again the novelty of it wears off.
