Is itching from BV or from shaving?

recently(weeks, a month and a half a go or so) i got medication for bacterial vaginosis. i took it for 5 days(what it said on the label) and it didnt go away. we called the doctor and i got the same medication and did the same routine. but, i still dont know if its away or not? i shaved my pubic area too, and now i have NO idea if the itching is from shaving or if its still BV? someone please help. im only 14. and btw i have no idea how i got BV, i've never had or used any 'chemicals' down there. im so frustrated with it, and i dont want to go to the gyno AGAIN, unless its still BV. i will report stupid, insulting, or non helpful comments. please just try to help, im so frustrated with this. is it from shaving or is it still BV? thanks.
