Dating a man 35 years older?

I recently got asked out by a man that is 35 years older than me and I am apprehensive. I am 25 he is 59. He is good looking for a man his age, very funny, successful, etc. He is divorced, and has no children. I know this sounds weird/gross to some but is age really just a number? I have definitely heard of a lot of May December romances but is it just too weird? He and I get along very well and have great conversation, get eachother's jokes, etc. I think I just want to know if there are people out there with similar situations and can offer advice, please don't answer with some smart remark. I need real unbiased opinions. He and I have a tentative date for tomorrow night to go to dinner, but I keep thinking, this guy is older than both of my parents! Ahh!!
